He was also a good husband, who cherished his second wife Joanne Woodward, and a relentless prankster (he and Robert Redford had an ongoing prank which they never spoke of to one another; RR had an old beat up Porsche delivered to PN front lawn after PN revealed he was hooked by auto racing, which RR had introduced him to, a year later, no words exchanged, but RR found 2 tons of metal balls in his driveway, and to return the favor, 2 years later PN received a 2 ton metal sculptor dropped in his backyard). May his memory live on.
